"Extract from the account of a voyage made in 1779, by Don Francisco Antonio Maurelle ... to explore the western coast of North America": v. 1, p. 242-255
Includes selections of vocabulary in the Port des Français language, v. 1, p. 409-410, and in the Ecclemach language, v. 1, p. 468-469; these languages would appear to be part of the Wakashan group of languages spoken on the Pacific Northwest coast. There is a selection of vocabulary in the language of the inhabitants of Tchoka island, v. 2, p. 80-85, which is identified as located near the Kamchatka Peninsula
